Biography
Seduced since 1972 by Greek culture, specifically the Cycladic Civilisation, Barry Thompson constructs his works using ‘essential’ materials such as paper, plaster and glue.
Combining influences from Giacometti and borrowing Egyptian symbols, Thompson successfully promotes what he refers to as “the constant cyclical significance” and applies this to both process and concept.
